The New Job

It works like this I am now an auditor. It's kinda like mystery shopping but for most jobs. I tell the people I'm there. I am also merchandising. In addition to working at the BIG BOX Store that I hate. I don't hate it so much I'm willling to name it and get fired, but I hate it. its a four letter word, litterally.
Today I did a bank and nothing is more embarrassing than getting stuck in the security area. I seriously thought I might have to start striping my clothes off so that I could get through the metal detector. Yeah I'm through the system...Hello I would like to know about your rates. LOSER. I only have 2 to do this week. It's not hard. Pays ok. My daughter is a senior this year. I've got open house expenses to cover. So far I've made 394.00 this year in extra pick up jobs.

Ok I just couldn't keep blogging and shopping and working etc. Since I last left you I turned 40! that was not pretty. I got a new camera. It goes with the new job. More on that later. I haven't been doing the deals lately but am hoping to get back on track. I started fat camp today. (also known as Weight watchers) I ordered a book from ebay. Yes I used my ebates. got .43 cents back whhooo hooo! I got the free week and did all my homework but I really wanted a journal. I plan on being back for good as I just need to journal. whether it be my thoughts or my food.

Victoria's Secret Santa Gift card

As I was at the mall yesterday (see below) we did stop into Victoria's Secret. Girl tells me of the special deal. Buy $10 minimun purchase you are guaranteed a $10 gift card however you may get more $25 $50 $100 $500.00 it's a secret you will find out in December. Confession time I have only bought 1 thing ever from VS but girls want that PINK perfume so I'm getting those and getting at least $10 back. whoo hoo.

PS I found a key ring with lip gloss for $15.0o are you serious? tried to check the website today for more ideas but they were updating. I'd like to do the ebates thing but I probably would get jipped of the gift card?

Adventure in spending the gift card

Ok silly me. Here I am at the mall with 3 teens. 2 stay with me and one disownes me. Well I'm walking the mall like a real loser with 2 kiddy and 2 gift cards for the mall that have 6.11 on one and 3.xx on the other. would you believe I had a hard time spending them. WHY~? cuz these idiots who work the registers don't know how to take them. First up JCPENNY can't spend it there so I end up spending 14.52 on a pair of jeans for daughter. Nice but could have been better using up the cards or even 1 card. Next lets eat. SUBWAY assitant manager can't figure out how to use the card so that we can pay the difference. argh another $10+ dollars. Try taco bell. cashier says these never work, I don't know why you bothered to get one. (me either however they were GIFT cards,,, duh) ok so we can't spend over the $3.00 or over the $6.00 hmmmm next up Dollar store. Nope. has to be over $5.00 but not over 6 next. This is ridiculous. Next up Mrs Fields they take the $6.00 and we have $1.99 left (I didn't understand the math on that but whatever) 1.99 great. Hey they have pop $1.00 each. Done. Possible tax so here is $1.00 send son. Son comes back with a look. what? she took the $1.00 because we only had 1.99 and it came to 2.00 so she took the other dollar and left us with .99 cents on it.
I'm fried. Lets go to the book store and read while we wait for older daughter. Here I'm reading a clean eating diet book several people gave me funny looks as I was sitting there minding my own business and of course holding onto a Mrs Fields cookie bag. LOL it took a bit for me to find the funny it in :)

No I didn't skip weigh in week 7

As everyone including myself was waiting to see how week 7's weigh in was, I'm just a few days short of posting it. Not as joyus as I would have liked. It stayed exactly the same. BOOOO. Starting to feel a bit of a whatever then Saturday for fun (how sad is that, weighing in is my FUN) I see 193.6 ok it's not even a full pound but lets forget about the .6 I see 193 I am a wash of smiles. I want to see 193. anything on wednesday this is my new goal hahaha

I made goulash and hummingbird soup this week. It was ok. Lots of leftovers in the freezer so that's a step in the right direction.

Oh the fun we had. I needed (really, I needed?) to stop into walgreens to pick up the FAR almay mascara and it was BOGO. (this post is from last week, blogger error) As I'm getting it the girl is putting out clearance stickers. I casually ask these are not included in the BOGO are they? Oh yes they are. all items were 1.89 or 2.29 yeah. hmmmm I have about a dozen of those Kmart beauty books in my car with $2.00 off any almay. hmmmm lets see how this goes

As you can see this went on for quite a while. My son would run just as he got past the door, hurry mom before they catch on. it was side splitting laughter for several more stores. it was so much fun, I guess you had to be there. I don't ever find these kinds of deals and yet 2 times this past week alone. I really think I 'm getting the hang of this. I got over $100 worth of makeup that night and only paid for pop, chips, a greeting card, etc.

I wonder what all the girls in my family are getting for christmas? LIPGLOSS. & candles from last week

an oops here: I lost the original recipt for the FAR mascara. or atleast I have15 days to find it as I don't know what I did with it. argh!!!!

No money + tons of shopping at Kroger

Well that title said it all. Crappy pay check came in yesterday. Next check will be $20.00 higher. Yeah looking forward to that. (day after thanksgiving) Made my first call to unemployement that check is only about $80.00. Hubby was messing with the computer and now we can't see the bank statement so we can't even tell if the direct deposit worked. Luckily he received a card and $100 dollars + GC for Outback. for coaching this week at the banquet. Big suprise. Another suprise was a tenant who is 4 months behind. Sent 120.00 dollars. OK not enough but I'll take it. Somethings better than nothing. 2 other tenants are mucho bucks behind also, yet those funds are not here this week. Rite aid sent me $2.00 rebate and Pinecone $3. survey money. Should have $30 from walgreens but I messed up and forgot to claim so now they are sending a snail mail check (argh)

Kroger deals this week are crazy. I managed to do the buy 10 and get $5.00 back instantly 8 times so far and I think I'm going back again today. LOL I'm not going to list it all but having that extra $40 dollars went pretty far. Funny I ran out of coupons oh after the second trip but got a few more yesterday so I'm really thinking I'm going again. Each time my savings was 47-55% off. AWESOME.

Weigh-in Week 6

Ok I'll start with yes it's Saturday however I've been busy. On wednesday I weighed-in at 194. Yeah. that's 3bls down from last week. However I'm not loving the overall picture here. 197 start 6 weeks ago makes that only 3lbs total. (not including the yo-yoing I've been doing) It looks like I'm a .5 a week loser. BLAH well the real test is to see if I can get below 193. After that I'm sure smooth sailing.
Obstacles this week:

1. TOM- OVER,
2. Sickies- OVER
3. Money for lunch-OVER (thanks to partial unemployment no more work to go to so no need for lunches out)

Wednesdays goal 193.5 or less.

Christmas goal out of the 190's gonna have to step up the .5 a week

I planned on paying all at once with 3 RR's but no go. So I had to think quick. and I still have $1 RR left that expires today.

1st sale:

1 wet wild make up brush set 1.99 + 1 wet wild nail polish 1.99 - BOGO sale = 1.99

2nd sale :
2 quatro pro razor sets 5.99 + 5.99 - ESC 6.00 ($3 doubled) - BOGO 2.99 (wrong coupon order oh well)
1 tag spray 2.99 - 1.00 c = 1.99
2 candy bars 1.00 = 1.00 why? cuz I had more coupons than items and 1 candy was .63 or 2/1
- 4RR = $2.88 total savings was 21.18
so instead of paying 42.16 I only paid 6.70 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was a deal to me

oh I forgot to add I get $1.00 back on the glad rebate too

Ok Back to journaling. I'm not counting as we don't do that on core, but I just am not eating enough (or maybe it's I'm not eating enough of the right foods?) I also just am not that hungry. I'm tired though too much water I'm up all night. Things gotta change.
